Today in Chapel Hill was awesome!  The "Why Wait" campaign of Declare Yourself must be working because the campus was buzzing from EARLY VOTING!  The Sneak Peak of "The Youngest Candidate" was great and one lucky audience member walked away with a FREE ZUNE!  Many thanks to Niraj Shah who was the Zune rep at the school and helped to put the event together.  I took some great pix of the early voting polling place too.. Zune has joined forces with "The Youngest Candidate" and Declare Yourself!  Zune has given me one of their Van's to drive around to battleground states to get young people excited about voting this year!  I will also be giving out a ton of FREE Declare Yourself and Zune Gear at each Sneak Peak.  One lucky audience member will get a FREE Zune everyday from now until election day.  CLICK HERE TO READ THE ZUNE PRESS RELEASE!&

I am honored to announce an amazing collaboration of "The Youngest Candidate" and "Declare Yourself".  They will be hooking up with my tour and we will be touring together now to get out the youth vote this year.  At each sneak peak of my film I will be talking about the "Why Wait?" campaign which is Declare Yourself's new initiative to get young people voting early this year. The Youngest Candidate was honored to be asked by the one and only Duke University to screen there.  It's all thanks to David Gastwirth and the Hart Leadership Program at Duke.  I went down to Durham on Monday and had an awesome program there with the students. CLICK HERE TO SEE MORE PIX!:)

"The Youngest Candidate" rocked MSU for the 2nd time on Oct. 17th.  Thanks to Matthew Missias from the college of education.  Matthew had one of his classes watch TYC and we had an awesome panel afterwards.  The turn out to see the film was AWESOME!  There is so much excitement for politics at MSU and I really love going there.  I spoke with 20 year old Mayor Michael Sessions of Hilldale Michigan and Diane Goddeeris of the East Lansing City Council.  We are gearing up with Nick Clark for our big TYC ROX MSU show on Nov. 2nd!  CLICK HERE TO SEE MORE PIX!

"The Youngest Candidate" was lucky enough to have Matt Bologna come to our Hartford screening to take picutres.  We are SO grateful to him for volunteering his time and taking these amazing pictures.  Check out his flikr page when you have a moment.. the dude is a sick photographer... In This Blog is a YOUTUBE clip of GEORGE MONGER getting a Proclamation from a U.S. Congressman's office.  George recieved the proclamation for his inspiring city council campaign.

On Oct. 3rd TYC got it's first sneak peak down in Memphis, TN.  George Monger even got a procalmation from a US Congressman!  The event was great and we had an awesome discussion with the crowd afterwards.  One thing that really excites me about this film is how much it gets people talking about young people and politics.  Thanks to Memphis for everything!:)-- jp
